Regarding a quantity of corn Mr. [Edward?] Telfair was to have sent for his plantation; requesting that at least enough be provided to last the negroes through the season; explaining that a payment that should have been credited to his account by William Pearce [sic] and Co. will have to wait until next fall, when he will pay him both principle and interest.
